“We wanted a supplier already established in Mexico, but with a European mindset for quality and communication. That was one of the key reasons we chose Rompa.” 

HENN Connector Group was establishing a new assembly plant in Mexico as part of its North American production strategy and needed a molding partner that could meet demanding automotive standards from day one.  

Rompa Mexico was selected to produce nine precision plastic components used in automotive connector systems, where tight tolerances, sealing performance and traceability are critical. Rompa’s existing footprint in Mexico, familiarity with automotive requirements and ability to move quickly into serial production were key factors in the decision.  

From first contract awards in December 2024 to serial production in early 2026, the two companies worked together to bring the project into production within around 12 months.
