Chinese mayor to visit our head office in the Netherlands

Rompa Group will be receiving an important visitor. The mayor of the Chinese town of Jiangmen will visit our head office in Tilburg on Friday 20 April. The goal of the visit is to get to know our company better, because we have had a production site in Jiangmen since 2005.
Mayor Tang Huihong will not be coming along; she will be accompanied by a Chinese delegation. The preparations for the visit are in full swing at Rompa Nederland. CEO Patrick Gerard: “We are truly honoured that the major of Jiangmen – a city with five million inhabitants – is coming to the Netherlands to visit Rompa. Of course, we will do everything we can to give our guests a warm welcome and a great impression of our organisation.” The guests will be welcomed and accompanied by Patrick Gerard, commercial director Martijn Jansen and all other members of the Rompa NL team. Jesse Plasman (director Far East) and Anderson Wang (general manager) will be there to represent Rompa China.

The schedule for 20 April

The Chinese delegation will visit Rompa from 10.30 to 13.30. During their visit, they will watch a video about the development of Jiangmen and the investments that the city has made in recent years and will make in the future. Patrick Gerard and the leader of the Chinese delegation will both give a speech. There is also plenty of time for everyone to get to know each other better and discuss their plans for the future. One thing is for sure: Rompa is keen to keep developing itself.

Rompa Shunxing

Rompa’s Chinese production site is called Rompa Shunxing. Over the years, it has grown into a full-service partner for e.g. injection moulding, thermoforming, decoration, assembly and the production and assembly of electronic components. Rompa Shunxing employs experienced electronic engineers and is equipped with modern facilities, including an SMT line for the production of circuit boards and an ESD room where we can assemble circuit boards free of static electricity. Customers can rely on Rompa to take care of the entire process from idea to delivery.
