Our help to Ukraine

The war in Ukraine has a devastating impact on countless Ukrainian people, wherein lots of citizens don’t have any choice and have to leave their home and country. As many others also the Rompa Group is offering support, we are working hard to help those impacted by this crisis, including our own colleagues and their families.

One Team

We employ colleagues from many different nationalities: Mexican, Czech, Romanian, Ukrainian, English, Chinese, Dutch, German and many others. It’s impressive to see that they are connected and do feel that they do want to help, offering support for those who need it the most. In some cases our Ukrainian colleagues and their families, have seen their homes destroyed and are no longer safe in their country. They lost everything from one day to the other. Although we have several production locations around the globe, we are strongly connected. All of us act and behave as one team, one global family. It’s in times like these, that our employees feel and act accordingly. Our Czech colleagues started an initiative to support the Ukrainian evacuees in Czech Republic. This initiative has been picked up on a global scale across our employees and together we have collected many donations and necessities that are being shipped to Czech Republic.

One Family

Within the Rompa Group we see our employees as one family. Since the start of the war, we are taking measures to protect our employees and their families as much as possible. The Rompa Group is offering housing for our Ukrainian employees and their families in the Netherlands. Families have been able to reunite and leave the current unsafe situation in Ukraine. Next to that, we have decided to provide support to the refugees that came to the area of Vyskov, Czech Republic. We support different schools in Czech republic in such a way that education can be offered to the Ukrainian children who were forced to leave their country. We are in close contact with local institutes and will monitor closely the different developments in the coming weeks and when possible we will take the appropriate measures to continue.
